Description

The Katadyn Hiker Pro Microfilter Water Filtration System is a lightweight hand-pump that filters out bacteria and protozoan cysts commonly found in fresh water sources to make it safer for drinking. It meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s microbiological water purifier standards for reduction of bacteria (99.9999% Klebsiella terrigena) and protozoan cysts (99.9% Giardia and Cryptosporidium). It is ideal for hiking, camping, or travelling in areas where treated water is unavailable.

A quick stop at a stream or lake can net 1 litre per minute and the quick connect fittings enable simple one-step filtering direct into most water bottles and reservoirs.

Each kit contains: Hiker Pro water microfilter, anti-clog microfilter element, removable filter protector, 2 quick connect hose sets, hydration connector, intake hose with modular pre-filter, output hose with universal bottle adapter, carry bag and complete instructions and field tips.
