The Membrane Solutions Personal Water Filter is a fantastic addition to your travelling gear, whether you’re taking a world trip or exploring closer to home. The blue straw design is extremely compact and lightweight and includes a detachable lanyard.

The eco-friendly straw doesn’t require batteries and can filter up to 5000L of water. The straw can take water directly from an open body of water such as a stream, river or lake, alternatively you can draw water from a container or hydration bag system.

The Personal Water Filter has several stages:

• Stage 1: Coarse filter – removes large particles
• Stage 2: PP cotton – intercepts residual particles and reduces water turbidity
• Stage 3: Activate carbon – chlorine, VOCs and odour reduction, plus taste improvement
• Stage 4: Hollow fibers – 99.99999% bacteria removal

After use or an outing, the filter should be back flushed with clean water which will help clear any sediment and particles. Do not wash with soap, bleach or other chemicals.

To ensure long life, use with relatively clean and turbid-free surface water. Never use to filter sea water, chemical or oil contaminated water.
