Nitecore HC65 V2

Description

The new Nitecore HC65 V2 sees a complete redesign of this popular head torch while retaining triple light sources of primary white light, auxiliary red light and also a high CRi auxiliary warm white output that made the original version a best seller.

Featuring a primary output from the Luminus SST-40-W LED and a maximum output of 1750 lumens and a range of up to 165 meters.

An included high capacity 3500mAh 18650 Li-ion battery can be charged inside the light via USB-C with the included charging cable. CR123 primary cells are also compatible when charging is not convenient (available separately).

Operation of the HC65 V2 is via a user friendly single button interface that provides access to the 5 brightness levels. 3 light sources and 3 flashing modes. The switch also features a blue power indicator light that flashes to display the battery voltage and charging status.

*Please note: To avoid accidental activation when being carried in a bag or pocket etc, we recommend removing the batteries.*

Primary White:

Turbo: 1750 lumens – 30 minutes – 165 meters

High: 900 lumens – 2 hours 15 minutes – 123 meters

Mid: 250 lumens – 6 hours – 65 meters

Low: 50 lumens – 28 hours – 28 meters

Ultralow: 1 lumen – 800 hours – 3 meters

 

Auxiliary Red:

High: 11 lumens – 30 hours – 7 meters

Low: 3 lumens – 110 hours – 3 meters

Flashing: 11 lumens – 57 hours

Auxiliary High CRI:

35 lumens – 20 hours – 10 meters

Plus Beacon and SOS modes (1750 lumens).

Advanced temperature regulation (ATR) regulates the output of the HC65 V2 according to the working and ambient temperature to maintain optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating.

Maximum beam distance 165 meters, waterproof to IP68 (2 meter submersible) and resistant to impacts up to 2 meters.

The headlamp is constructed from aero grade aluminium alloy with a hard anodised finish. The light can be angled up and down and has a wide beam area.

A new breathable elastic headband keeps the HC65 V2 firmly in place with a rear rubber pad for improved comfort.
